Coffee As I Edit My Writing
Today's coffee photo was taken at the Salida Cafe in Salida, Colorado. I was editing a chapter of my book (about my 2008 bike across America trip), and opted to gently place my coffee cup on the laptop.
One event at the cafe totally made my day. A woman approached me and said, "You have the most beautiful hair." I was stunned by her compliment, and it made me so happy. :)
Lastly, in other news, Phil Ladden and I climbed Mount Sherman on Thursday. This is a lofty peak in Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Nothing beats living in Colorado in the summer!
